Cutting modes:
1) Segments:
With the help of the manual turn table (division 16) you get the following
final portions (segments) out of a round cheese.
Segment division: to divide a cheese loaf in 2, 4, 8, or 16 segments.
Optional: equipable with "automatic turn table".
2) Cheese bars:
Cutting cheese bars out of block or cheese loaf.
3) Portion cutting:
The cut cheese bars must be turned on the cutting surface and turned by
90° manually. Then the portions size can be selected and the
portion cutting starts.
Machine operation:
The various cutting parameters can be selected on the machine control by a
thumb wheel switch.
Setting possibilities:
- Select between cheese bar cutting or segment cutting
- Thumb wheel switch for selecting the trim cut width
- Thumb wheel switch for selecting the cheese bar width
(feed rate under the knife)
- For option "automatic turn table" an additional thumb wheel switch for
input of number of segments (only even division numbers possible) is
available.
Segment cutting:
(manual turn table with 16 fixing positions)
The cheese loaf is placed manually onto the centre of the turn table (turn
table is in the end position in the backside of the machine). When starting
the cutting operation, the turn table moves automatically into the middle
position underneath the knife and the first cut is done. After this cut, the
safety door must be opened and the turn table is turned manually into next
cutting position by the operator. By pushing the start button again, the next
cut is done (and so on).
Cheese bar cutting:
The cheese loaf or block is placed manually onto the centre of the turn table
(turn table is in its end position on the backside of the machine). The
operator selects the width of the trim cut and the width of the cheese bar
(with the help of the thumb wheel switches). When starting the cutting
operation, the turn table moves automatically into the first cutting position
(trim cut) and starts cutting. The cheese is cut automatically into cheese
bars until the turn table is the front end position.
Portion cutting:
After cutting the cheese loaf of block in bars, the turn table is turned
manually by 90°. Depending on the width of the cheese bars it is maybe
necessary to place the bars on the cut surface (Trim cuts taken away
manually). Then again the operator selects the width of the trim cut and the
width of the cheese portion (with the help of the thumb wheel switches). When
starting the cutting operation, the turn table moves automatically into the
first cutting position (trim cut) and starts cutting. The cheese is cut
automatically into cheese portions until the turn table is the
front end position.
